So something about myself. Hi everyone, I am Prakhar . recently I finished by 1st year of Engineering. I got 2 months of summer holidays. So in summer holidays we have lots of free time so I decided to learn a programming language but i was confused if i should do C++ or Python , both languages are good and have many applications but i was not able to decide , i was also searching about web development ,MERN stack , Django etc etc . and also about ML and data science , I even started learning ML algorithms (Linear regression , Logistic regression) but my coding was not that strong to implement these algos on computer , so i decided to stop all this researching and start learning , i.e focusing on learning a programming language thoroughly so that my foundation knowledge will be strong. So, after lots of time wasting (TBH I learned few things about ML which will come handy in future so it is not time wasting completely) I decided to learn python so I enrolled in the Python 3 Programming specialization offered by University of Michigan on Coursera platform .
I don't know how good or bad this course is , I have completed the week 1 of the first Course and it seems pretty nice . I will try to be as consistent as possible.
One reason to enroll in this course was to get a structured plan which i can follow , i didn't want to waste more time in searching the resources. and it has a flexible schedule so I can learn at my own pace that's why I plan to complete this course as soon as possible because I want to learn new technologies like ML ,Web dev.... and to learn these I should have a strong foundation of programming .
That's it , Thank you . I will keep on posting about my new learnings.
